1. KW, MW
We often hear words like kW, MW and GW in the photovoltaic industry. In fact, this is the unit of photovoltaic power generation. Electric power is the physical quantity of how fast or slow the current does work, which refers to the transmission rate of electric energy. Common electric power units are: milliwatt (MW), Watt (W), kilowatt (kw), megawatt (MW), gigawatt (GW). The electric power of a battery is about 500W.
2. Installed capacity
Installed capacity refers to the capacity of power generation equipment officially put into use after the installation of photovoltaic power station. Including normal operation capacity, maintenance reserve capacity and accident reserve capacity. The installed capacity of a rooftop power station is generally measured in kilowatts (kw), while large photovoltaic power stations are measured in megawatts or even gigawatts.
