On January 1, 2022, RCEP officially came into effect and was implemented. Guangxi aluminum producers actively expand the global industry chain and supply chain, plan to fully build a “digital factory” this year, to become a digital benchmark enterprise in the industry, to empower the transformation and upgrading of Guangxi aluminum deep processing industry chain.
It is reported that Guangxi is a rich area of aluminum ore resources, aluminum industry is one of the traditional pillar industries in Guangxi. In recent years, Guangxi continues to promote the aluminum industry “second business”, and has processed a number of projects, builds the whole industry chain from bauxite, alumina, electrolytic aluminum, aluminum deep processing and other chains.
Guangxi plays the advantage of being adjacent to ASEAN, grasps the opportunity of RCEP, and strives to build advanced aluminum manufacturing center for ASEAN.
The city of Baise in Guangxi, known as “China’s aluminum capital”, is accelerating the building of China-ASEAN aluminum industry base and deepening international cooperation in ecological aluminum industry. Local officials introduced that the city is accelerating the development of refined aluminum, high-purity aluminum, aluminum for automobiles and rail transportation, aluminum for aerospace and other high value-added aluminum deep processing industry, the construction of industrial cooperation parks for ASEAN, accelerate the construction of China-ASEAN (Baise) aluminum products storage and trading center.
